We find ourselves in the quiet and so typically Tuscan village of San Sano, few minutes drive from Gaiole in Chainti, and only 15 minutes away from Siena, smack in the middle of the Chianti Classico region. Driving to San Sano is an experience in itself, coming up this hill via a cypress tree road and passing by the amazing vineyards of Antinori which cover the hills on all sides, ending up in this small but characteristic village, with an excellent restaurant right at your doorstep, and a small shop for your first necessities.
